About Trashbinn Art

Bio:

Trashbinn Art (Tas) (she/they) is a proud First Nations, Queer, multidisciplinary artist based on the stolen lands of the Turrubal and Yuggera peoples in Meanjin (Brisbane). Trashbinn works across photography, painting, weaving and design,  boldly exploring themes of identity, queerness, Aboriginality, motherhood, body image, and social justice. Through her diverse body of work, Trashbinn Art invites viewers into intimate reflections and conversations, drawing from her personal experiences and the stories of her community.

At the heart of Trashbinn's practice lies a deep commitment to collaboration and inclusivity. She actively engages with individuals from diverse backgrounds, seeking to amplify unheard voices and fostering connections within her community.

With a passion for storytelling and a dedication to inclusivity, Trashbinn Art continues to challenge and inspire audiences, inviting them to engage thoughtfully with the intersections of art, identity, and community.
